The waterproofing treatment even serves to repel blood-borne pathogens. The bi-swing back and zippered side seams allow for rapid access to sidearms while preserving shoulder mobility, guaranteeing effective weapon use at all times. The zip-through collar, removable hood and optional zip-out liner allow wearers to choose appropriate levels of warmth and coverage for any weather or field condition. 5.11’s jacket provides ample storage space for small gear and accessories, including two bellowed pockets, twin front hand warmer pockets and a document pocket along the chest.
